Shannon Spake

Shannon Spake, born July 23rd, 1976. She is an NASCAR reporter as well as a college football and basketball reporter at Fox Sports. She previously worked at ESPN and was an ESPN SportsCenter contributor providing the pre- and post-game update. She also served as a an on-field reporter for The SEC in ESPN basketball matches and NCAA football matches. Spake has also been a journalist for the brand-new SEC Network, which is operated by ESPN. Before coming to ESPN, Spake worked at Speed Channel, where she co-hosted NASCAR Nation in its second version (June to November 2005) and was also a reporter for the first edition (February through June , 2005). Spake also hosted Back Seat Drivers, a talk show, with an online columnist Marty Smith.
