Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began at 14 years old. Aspen Ladd had training in BJJ, kickboxing boxing and wrestling before making her professional debut at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd went on to improve upon her win at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She dominated all her opponents within the first round. She then returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia outclassed Aspen and beat her in a the unanimous decision, which put a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd recovered from this loss to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen turned professional in 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and was able to dominate her, securing a first-round TKO. Aspen won her subsequent fight with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. Aspen then fought at bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills has smashed McGill in the first round, and she was able finish her fight in the third round with a TKO (elbows as well as punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen was a dominant Hoy and defeated her after the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion by unanimous decision. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was on UFC Fight Night 118 when she was up against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina by a ground and pound victory in the second round. Then, in her third fight she defeated Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd was able to beat Evinger by a punch in the initial round, and got a Performance of The Night bonus. Her first fight of note came in her next fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The two fights were one of the most competitive fights that Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within 16 seconds in order to stop her winning streak. At the end of round three on UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. The last time she fought for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. It was a unanimous decision in her favor.
